Adding Phases to a Bid Package From the Summary Sheet

Adding Phases to a Bid Package From the Summary Sheet

There are three places that phases can be added to a bid package. You can add phases to a bid package from the Summary Sheet, and phases can also be added to a bid package from within a bid package matrix. Additionally, phases can be added using the Work Breakdowns option on the navigation panel.

To add phases to a bid package on the Summary Sheet, you can either click on the ellipsis on the bid package row header, or right mouse click on the bid package description in the "Grouping" column.

Ellipsis View

Right Mouse Click View

After selecting the Add Phase option, you can choose to add a new phase or select a phase that already exists in the project, most likely in another alternate.

When you select the New Phase option, you will then be prompted to add a phase code and a phase description. Next, click on Add to add the new phase to the bid package.

You can continue using this method to build up the scope for each bid package.
